Dr. Anne Stacey
BSC, DC Doctor of Chiropractic
Philosophy
Dr. Anne Stacey approaches her patients' health with a balanced
and holistic perspective. She believes chiropractic has the potential to restore physical balance within the body, allowing
individuals to achieve their optimal potential on physical, mental, and personal levels alike. She helps her patients attain
this through a friendly, compassionate, and practical commonsense approach, which emphasizes self-care and exercise.
Areas
of Practice
Since completing her chiropractic education in 2006, Anne has worked
both in her own practice in Toronto as well as in a number of other practices in both Ontario and BC. Through both short and
long term commitments, she has assisted fellow chiropractors take temporary leaves and much-needed holidays.
Anne has devoted her time to working with individuals and families as they pursue optimal health and wellness. She enjoys
working with people of all ages and abilities, including athletes with sports injuries, patients with work-related injuries,
growing families and children, and especially those with everyday aches and pains. Through gentle hands-on procedures, familiar
practice techniques, and chiropractic philosophy, Anne has the skills, methods, and experience to provide excellent and effective
care to her patients.
Educational
Background
Anne has followed a wide multidisciplinary education path. She attended
the University of Western Ontario where she took courses in biology and physiology, as well as environmental sciences and geography,
completing a Biology, Environmental Science and Geography Honors degree in 2000. She went on to Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
in Toronto, where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2006.
She has added to her training through ongoing continuing education opportunities, including an array of adjustive procedures
and soft tissue techniques to facilitate comfortable, effective treatment for her patients. She continues to expand her knowledge
and experience through ongoing reviews of current research and ongoing training in orthotics, pediatrics, and family care.
Personal
History
From a very young age, Anne wanted to work as a medical professional.
Especially because of migraine headaches which began in her childhood, Anne has long been interested in methods that minimize
discomfort and pain, and offer real potential for achieving optimum health. In her own experiences with pain management as a
child and young adult, it was chiropractic that achieved the greatest, most long-standing results.
Anne grew up in small town BC, and has lived in Ontario for the last several years. She is happy to now call the North Shore
her home, and is excited to explore the area and the world-class recreational opportunities it presents.
