Dr. Terry Dickson
BSc, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Terry Dickson was born and raised on the North Shore and
attended Capilano College before advancing to Simon Fraser University. While attending Simon Fraser, Dr. Dickson
continued his pursuit of a career in a health profession by taking multiple courses in human kinesiology,
biology and other pre-medicine prerequisites.
Following personal injury in multiple motor vehicle accidents, Dr.
Dickson was unable to many things he had previously taken for granted and was forced to live with a new level of
pain and discomfort. After being exposed to many health care disciplines he found his greatest recovery subsequent
to receiving Chiropractic treatment. This treatment enabled him to return to his love of sports and pursue an active
role as a member of the SFU Varsity Football team. Furthermore, this recovery influenced him enough to pursue a career
as a Chiropractor so that he could help others in a similar manner to what he had experienced.
After completing his 4 year post graduate education and internship in
the United States, Dr. Dickson returned to the North Shore to practice the art of Chiropractic. After working in multiple
clinics and settings, Dr. Dickson has found his home with the Multi-Disciplinary North Shore Wellness Center. He continues
his pursuit of knowledge and interest in the sporting community by donating services to many premier and professional athletic
teams as well as treating many high level athletes in the wellness clinic.
